Please pray for my sweet little Mollie. She has a really bad cough that is keeping her up at naps and night time. She woke up from her nap this morning with a fever too. We are headed up to the doctor in just a few minutes. You can tell she is trying to be a good sport about it but she just can't help not feeling good. Her little eyes just break your heart when she looks at you because you can tell she is just saying, "why do I feel yucky mommy, help me!" Even after lunch today she didn't really want to eat but she tried so hard and then threw it all up all over herself.
I will let you know how it goes but please keep her in your prayers. Also, Maddie has a yucky cough but she is still full of energy. She is on cough medicine so hopefully it will get better and she won't get whatever Mollie has.

Randomness

I can't believe that my little baby is already 6 months old. She is doing really well and I am so in love with her. Even though at times she is very clingy and even fussy I love her so much. She weighed 16 lbs. 7 oz. and 25.5 inches long. She sits up really well and most of the time unassisted. She has a big appetite and laughs all the time. Most of all she adores her sister.
My Crew at their finest...relaxing in the big recliner.
This is utter laziness. Maddie never held her own bottle ever! So I am hoping that this one will. As you can tell she has no interest in doing this whatsoever. When I did this she just looked at me like whatever works mom. Don't get the wrong idea this is the only time I have ever done this it is not like I do this everyday.
Maddie and Gus are inseparable. He even lets her dress him up in princess crowns. She blow dries him with her little hair dryer. He is such a good sport.
Mollie got her new bathing suit and we tried it on with a little sun hat. Doesn't she just look too cute. The funniest part is that I had to buy this hat 18 months-2T to fit her. The doctor did say last week that her head was the biggest thing on her. Those of you who know Trey know exactly where she got her head from.
Maddie had winter festival at school two weeks ago and they had snow cones along with lots of other winter activities. She showed me her purple tongue after chowing down on the snow cone.
My big girl and I enjoying quality time together.

Sweet Slumber

There just isn't anything as cute as a sleeping baby especially when she is sleeping on her daddy's shoulder. Trey's cousin calls Mollie "cheeks" and I must agree after looking at this picture. Her little chubby cheeks are perfect for lots of kisses.

A Weekend of Greats!
Our weekend was filled with great things so let me share them with you.
- Maddie had her first official sleep over at her cousins house and she did GREAT...or so I was told by her Aunt Mandy.
- She also had a GREAT time.
- We had a garage sale on Saturday and it went GREAT because we ended up with only two small boxes of stuff left. Not to mention we made some serious extra dough.
- We got to spend some GREAT time with lots of people we love over the weekend...cousins, aunts, uncles, friends...you get the picture.
- The service at church yesterday was GREAT. God really said some amazing things through the music and pastor.
- I got to go to bed early two nights in a row and that was GREAT.
- A GREAT friend from college got engaged to a GREAT guy and we think it is GREAT!

The truth of the matter is...

Mollie is really starting to master sitting up on her own. She still tumbles some but overall she loves being independent as long as I am holding her...hahaha!
Sweetness
Priceless!
So I was thinking the other day when you look at everyone's blogs all the pictures of babies are when they are always smiling including my own. However, the truth of the matter is that on my computer there are probably thousands of pictures of my kids and the majority of them they are not smiling. It takes like 10 pictures to every 1 to get a good smiling picture with everything in focus and eyes on the camera. So don't be fooled by all the happy babies and think that every baby is just blissful 100% of the time because it is just not true. Now I know you are thinking that I am gripping but I am not. I think I do have a very happy baby but those of you out there in blogger world may get the wrong impression. Babies DO cry, they DO get sick, and they DO get mad sometimes it is what they do and that is why they are called babies. The smiles just make it all worthwhile kinda like it is GOD's way of reassuring us that these are His priceless gifts. So with all this said I must conclude to say the truth of the matter is that a smile is worth a thousand words.

ugh!
Sometimes you just have one of those days when for no particular reason you are in a bad mood and you have no patience. TODAY is like that for me. Good thing it is almost over!

Not a baby anymore.
My little Madeline turned 4 last week. I cannot believe how fast she has grown up. It seems like we just brought her home.
She woke up last Tuesday morning and Trey said, "Guess what?"
Maddie responded, "What?"
"It is your birthday and now you are four!" Trey replied.
"Wohoo! I am so excited" looking down herself and jumping up and down, "I even look bigger now!"
I am afraid to say she is not a baby anymore. She even informed me the other day that she "was the smartest in the whole world and that she knows everything." Guess we are going to have to work on the whole humility thing. Oh well! We had a big birthday party and grandparents and all were even there. Her day was a great one!
