When it rains it pours.

I must say that the old saying, when it rains it pours has some validity to it. The past week was absolutely crazy. Despite all the bad things that came upon us God turned every trial into a triumph. Check this list out of happenings in the Carlile house hold:
- The roof will not be done until we are home for summer so now we get to listen to all the pounding for a day.
- Trey drove through the garage wall on accident of course.
- Trey's truck got broken into, window destroyed, dash ripped out and custom stereo obliterated all while in Houston.
- Dance practice for Maddie 4 times in one week while it is also the last week of school and I am having to pack every item in my room whether it is coming home or staying at the school.
-Parker, our cat, has kittens and she never takes care of her litters she just abandons them.

Those are some of the major things that went on so now check out how God turned these trials into triumphs.
- We aren't going to have to go out of pocket on the roof.
- Trey did not break a stud just drywall so it will be a fairly minor fix.
- Trey's soccer team all chipped in and paid for the deductable that it would cost to fix everything on the truck and the insurance company is already taking measures to fix everything completely.
- Maddie's recital was a priceless moment. It brought tears to my eyes and will be something that I will treasure in my heart forever.
- Parker has disappeared for the time being and we have not seen nor heard of her in about 5 days. So this horrible mom of a cat seems to not be our problem, at least for the time being.

God is blessing us so much and it is amazing what he really does when you just give it all over to him. He has taught us, confirmed to us, reassured us and just plainly taken care of us. Even when it rains it pours I think the only way to view that saying is when it rains it pours blessings on us.

You always have such a positive outlook on things. It's so great when you can see God's hand working in your life. I'll bet Maddie's recital was precious. Here's the link to my blog if you want to check it out. http://leslierector.blogspot.com/
